Volunteers sort the food into parcels to be distributed to people in need.
Every day in the UK people go hungry. It can be for a number of reasons including redundancy or an unexpected bill on a low income.

Tackling UK poverty together
The Trussell Trust is one organisation who run a network of over 400 foodbanks, giving emergency food and support to people in crisis across the UK, where thirteen million people live below the poverty line.
